
Why did you start your business?
As veteran in the real estate industry, we decided to change direction just as the market had done. We had been creating gift baskets for employers in the past and thought why not incorporate. We created a business surrounding a flexible product and personal shopping. Over the past 3 years, our client base has increased 10 fold and our creativity has exploded.
What makes you different than other similar businesses in your community?
The Giftbasket Concierge works with any price point whether we build marketing baskets for local businesses or bringing meals to the sick. We do it all and make each gift and buying experience personal to each and every client. In these times of quick production and automation, we like to uphold the traditions of yesterday...people helping people.
I am cautious when buying online. What can I expect when I place an order with The Giftbasket Concierge?
We understand in today's challenging market that everyone is conscious of how to stretch their money. We also believe that everyone wants value for their purchases. Our produts are assembled with the best components possible...not like some other brand name companies where there are many tiny items and the majority is unappealing. Each of our gifts is put through the same process of choosing quality, full sized products that are popular so everyone can enjoy. In our past consumer experience, we have received gift baskets with components no one likes or has the desire to eat. If we don't think it's popular or delicious, it does not go into our baskets. Total value - no waste.
We also pride ourselves on customer service and care. Each buyer receives:
- One on one personalized attention to ensure a perfect basket
- An email list of the gift basket components
- Photographs of the new gift creations: unwrapped and wrapped
- An email or phone confirmation of the delivery
- Invoicing emailed and hard copy mailed
- A personal thank you note with a token of our appreciation
What do you like most about your community?
Our community is very supportive. Being part of the Wellington Chamber of Commerce and Palms West Chamber is an added bonus. Many community programs are developed that allow businesses of all sizes to participate and network.
